1st Petersfield is a thriving Scout group established in 1908. Our scout, cub and beaver groups welcome community volunteers; Please join us and make a difference to young people in your community, develop your skills and make life long friends.

EH Community Rail Partnership
The East Hampshire Community Rail Partnership aims to: - Promote the train services at Liphook, Liss, Petersfield and Rowlands Castle stations. - Encourage use of the train services and stations as access gateways to the South Downs National Park. - Encourage partners such as local businesses, community organisations, and volunteers to become more involved with the stations and services. - Enable the rail industry to work with local tourist attractions and the South Downs National Park to attract more visitors to access the area by train. - Provide a means to enhancing the environment and facilities at each station.

Grayshott Folk Club
Grayshott Folk Club started up in January 2011 and is primarily based at: Grayshott Village Hall, Headley Road, GRAYSHOTT, Nr. HINDHEAD, Surrey GU26 6TZ. The aim of Grayshott Folk Club is to put on quality music at affordable prices. There is no membership or joining fee, you simply choose and come to the gigs you want to. We strive to encourage and showcase local young musicians whilst offering the best in Folk, Roots and Acoustic Music from around the UK and abroad. We also have a licensed bar that stocks a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including bottled beers from Langham's our favourite local brewery.

Lion and Unicorn Players
Lion and Unicorn Players, established in 1959, are a friendly Amateur Dramatic Society whose policy is the production of good plays to the highest possible standards. Past productions range from Shakespeare to Stoppard via Shaw, Coward and Ackybourn.

Liphook & District Model Railway Club
We are the local model railway club, covering a wide variety of scales, interests. We meet in Milland every Friday night to work on our two layouts (one British Southern Region, one German), talk trains and be sociable!

Liss Runners
We are a social running club for anybody interested in running for fun and/or competition. We are based in Liss, Hampshire and have over 100 members coming from Liss, Petersfield and surrounding villages. We have a strong contingent of male and female runners and a broad range of abilities. The only stipulation is that you have to be over 17 years old to join. We organise training sessions a minimum of three times a week, with extra sessions at certain times of the year and special events. There are also social events, including our annual dinner dance.

Milland Valley Railway Modellers
Small friendly afternoon special interest group of Liphook & Midhurst U3A's. Meets 9 times a year- (no meetings July, August or December) on 3rd Wednesday of the month 14.00 to 16.00hrs

Pedal2Pedal
Cycle club based in Petersfield running coaching sessions for young riders in road and mountain biking from The Petersfield School. Women's only coaching in mountain biking and road cycling. We offer guided rides and training for events.

Petersfield & District Diabetes UK Group
It is our groups aim to provide help and support to people living with diabetes in Petersfield and surrounding areas. We do this primarily through group meeting, designed with the purpose of providing individuals with a social forum to discuss diabetes.

Petersfield & District Philatelic Society
The stamp club meets at the Community Centre on the first Monday each month. Talks and displays are provided. All welcome. Meet 7.30 p.m. with about 25 members present. Beginners are especially welcome.

Petersfield Community Choir
We are an open access choir, meaning no auditions and anyone can join. We meet on a Wednesday evening, during term time, 8-9.30pm. The cost is £5 per session, payable on the night. We sing a wide variety of songs and have fun making beautiful music!

Whilst we have a members age bracket of 18-45 we welcome the support of the community to help ensure what we do feeds directly back to you. Petersfield Orchestra
A local amateur orchestra who welcome players of grade 7 and above, particularly strings. We perform 3 concerts per year, and rehearse on Friday evenings during school term time at Avenue Pavilion in Petersfield.

Although we are sometimes very serious about organising our Award winning events, the main rule is to have some fun! We are always looking for like-minded men to join to the group. Come along for a beer and see what we are all about!

Petersfield South Downs Probus Club
The Club offers many activities including walking, visits, Talks, golf and socialising. Club meetings take place at The Half Moon pub in Petersfield on the last Tuesday of each month (except August and December) and commence at 1100 AM for 1130 AM. After a brief session for Club business, members and guest are entertained to an entertaining Talk by a guest Speaker or a PSDPC member followed by a fine two-course pub lunch. Meetings are usually over by 2PM. The Club holds its Summer Lunch in August and its Christmas Lunch in December.

Petersfield Table Tennis Club
We are the only proper Table Tennis Club in Petersfield. Open every Monday evening (except Bank Holidays) 6:30 - 9:30pm. All ages and abilities welcome. Social and recreational play on 6 tables in a large hall. Coaching and competitive play if required.

Petersfield Theatre Group
We were formed in 2008 from the merger of the Petersfield Operatic society and Petersfield Hi lights and now perform two full-scale musical shows every year, in June and November at the Town/Festival Hall in Petersfield. We sing, dance, act, build and paint our own scenery and put on shows to a surprisingly high standard. We rehearse Monday and Wednesday evenings and are always on the lookout for new members whether on-stage or off. We invite alternating high quality directing teams who bring tremendous energy and variety to the shows that we stage.

The Petersfield Town Partnership (Petersfield Tomorrow) was launched at a public meeting on Monday 30th October 2006. The Partnership builds on its Town Health Check and public consultations to promote and achieve for Petersfield.

Phoenix Stitchers
Phoenix Stitchers is an independent group of stitchers and other crafters of all abilities and levels who live in and around Petersfield, Hampshire. The aim of the group is to offer members not only an interesting and varied programme of professional speakers at the monthly meetings, but also to arrange a host of tutors to teach on a wide variety of textile related subjects at the Day Schools. The group’s aim to similarly foster and further an interest in textiles and crafts in general amongst young people, resulted several years ago in the setting up of Junior Phoenix Stitchers . This very popular group for young people age 7 and over, also meets once a month in the Petersfield Community Centre.
